Dave Rygalski is a character from the TV series Gilmore Girls and is portrayed by wonderful actor Adam Brody, now seen on The O.C. Dave Rygalski is the secret boyfriend of Rory's best friend Lane. They have to sneak around with their relationship because Lane's mother don't like her daughter dating non-Korean boys. He also plays guitar in a rockband with his girlfriend Lane and two others, Zach and Brian.

Dave: I know you have very strict rules about dating and boys, but I just want you to know that I'm a good person. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I've never gotten a ticket, I'm healthy, I take care of myself, I floss. I never watch more than 30 minutes of television a night partly because I think it's a waste of time and partly because there's nothing on. Dave: Well, it's gotta be from the Bible, right? So I'll just go home, do some research, look on the Internet, see what I can find. I'll call you when I know something.

Lane: The other team’s winning.
Rory: But our fans have the best insults. At least, Babette does.
Dave: Well, that’s really what counts in the end.
